Grandparent Rights

In the State of Florida, grandparents have certain rights to child visitation in certain circumstances:

  • The visitation must be in the best interests of the child, and;
  • The marriage of the parents of the child has been dissolved;
  • A parent of the child has deserted the child; or
  • The minor child was born out of wedlock and not later determined to be a child born within wedlock.

There are specific factors the Court will consider in determining if grandparent visitation is in the best interests of the child. Allow us to communicate to the Court your perspective, in the light most favorable to you. Please call us at 904-642-3332 or contact us online.
